This was James Cambria Ping – he used to hang out with Pogo, Wayne and Bobby Bell growing up in Somerset. He had a brother Eric and I’m his sister Angela. Our mother Marie passed in 2010, our brother Eric passed in 2015 and our father just passed 12Mar2015. I noticed there was very little written about him. He was cremated shortly after passing. His favorite things were animals; especially dogs, he played a mean guitar-able to play rhythm and lead at the same time, and called his guitar his wife. After completing two years of Performing Arts School in Ashland KY I watched him get standing ovations for his favorite role as a bartender in live plays. He wrote lots of plays including one called Alky Al but never published any. He had the brightest blue eyes and they sparkled when I came home on leave.I remember him talking about different friends he had and Van-hook was a last name I recall. I hope this jogs your memory.
