Bonnie Kay Cook Goff, age 50, of Ferguson, KY, formerly of the Cedar Grove Community; passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Unit. She was born October 23, 1966 to the late Arthur (Dedordy) and Katherine Cook, in Somerset. She was a homemaker, and of the Christian Faith
Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, motorcycle riding and watching westerns. She always spoke her mind and was proud of being part of the Cook Family. She was the eternal “Daddy’s Girl” and will be laid to rest next to him, now Together Forever. She always prided herself in being the “rebel child”, and always marched to the beat of her own drum. She always lived life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her fiancée, Ronnie Nelson, of Ferguson. Her children, Melissa (and Jessica) Bhatti, and Whitney Wheet (& Dereck Northern). Her step-children, Sarah Nelson, Tabitha Nelson, and Lilly Nelson. Her grandson, Asher Bhatti; granddaughters, Emily Bhatti and River Northern. Her brother, Ronnie (& Katie) Cook; her sisters, Cindy (& Jesse) Cook, and Mae (& Ricky) Allen. Her nephews, Brandon Adams (& Kat Woolley), Robert Allen, and Mike Hager. Her nieces, Katie (& John) Walters, Marcia (and Chris) Brock, Danielle (& Todd) Stewart, Lora (& Tiffany) Cook, Alisha Griffis, and Destiny Allen (& Samuel Coslow). Six great-nephews, one great niece, and one great-nephew or niece that will arrive in October. As well as a host of family and friends that she leaves behind to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jane Raisor and Maggie Griffis; and one great-niece, Keyleygh Pritchard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Dykes officiating.
Burial will follow at Waites Cemetery in Burnside.
