Nannie Alma “Mother” Randall, age 98, of the Dahl Community, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 27, 2016.

Alma was born on August 12, 1918, daughter of the late Jess and Zula Rainey Bales.  She was a member of Cedar Gap Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Price and Vivian (and husband, Wilbert) Nicely, both of Somerset; five grandchildren, Rick (and wife, Sherrie) Price, Rance Price, Rhonda Price, Robin Nicely and Traci (and husband, Steve) McCowan; three sisters, Jessie B. Collins, Helen Phelps and Ruby Phelps; ten great-grandchildren; and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Carlos Randall; her parents, Jess and Zula Bales; a daughter, Carlene Price; three brothers, Virgil Bales, R.V. Bales and Harold “Cotton” Bales; and two sons-in-law, Harold Price and Bill Price.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016, after 6:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 1, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel with Sister Allene Topham and Bro. Jerry Harper officiating.  Burial will be in the Cedar Gap Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Gap Cemetery Memorial Fund.
