Norma A. Long, of Somerset, passed from this life on Sunday, August 14, 2016, in Ocala, Florida.

Norma was born in Hartford, Kentucky, on October 1, 1926, daughter of the late Maurice and Violet Allen Long.  For thirty years, she was secretary for the Bluegrass Army Depot, in Richmond.  Norma was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Jinny Long, of Ocala, Florida, and Barbara Long, of Princeton.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, William Maurice Long, Jack Houston Long and Walter Dudley Long.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 12:00 noon, in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be Saturday, at 1:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Marvin Reynolds officiating.  Burial will be in the Cartwright Cemetery, in Albany.
