Robert Lee Hodge, age 62, of Somerset, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

Robert was born on November 23, 1953, in Cincinnati, son of the late Luthur Lee and Wilma Dean Meadows Hodge.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.  Robert had worked as a mobile home transporter and taxi cab driver in Somerset.  He enjoyed collecting antiques, riding motorcycles and singing karaoke.  He was a car enthusiast.  Robert loved spending time with his grandson.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Dean Hodge (and Lloyd Prewitt), of Mount Vernon; his former wife, Cathy Crabtree Hodge (and Rick evans), of Mount Vernon; his brothers, Tommie Hodge, of Somerset, and Luthur Lee, Jr. (and Betty) Hodge, of Kings Mountain; his sister, Lori Lee (and John G.) Pollitt, of Sloans Valley; his grandson, Stormy Jones; his nephews, Nathan Hodge and Waylon Owens; and his nieces, Candace Hodge and Deatra Jones.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2016, after 6:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 12, 2016, at 12:30 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Joe Altman officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.  Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
