Kenneth “Ken” Barger passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, at his home, reaching the age of 86 years.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on April 4, 1930, to Mannon and Mertha Barger. He graduated with the Bellevue Graduating Class of 1948. Ken served our country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in November 1954. He went to work for the Proctor and Gamble Company, and stayed with the company until his retirement. Ken was a member of the Henry Barnes Masonic Lodge #607, of Dayton, Kentucky.

After retiring, Ken moved to Somerset, where he enjoyed spending time boating. He also enjoyed watching Cincinnati Reds baseball and Kentucky Wildcats basketball, and Budweiser beer.

Ken is survived by his daughter, June (and Desi) Fuentes, of Somerset; his grandchildren, Brittany (and Cody) Polston, and Norae Fuentes and Ethan Fuentes; his special friend, Helen Poe; his sister, Jenny Bonner, of Cincinnati; his brother, Colburn (and Edna) Barger, of Somerset; nephews, Terry (and Michelle) Barger and Tim (and Beth) Barger, of Westchester, Ohio; his niece, Kathy (and Jim) Wyatt, of Batavia, Ohio; and his soon to arrive great-grandson, Bryson

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Colsten Barger.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., in Mill Springs National Cemetery, in Nancy, with Bro. Harold Harris officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
