John Dean Daulton passed away May 7, 2016, while on vacation in Florida. He was born January 9, 1964, to Weylan and Doris Daulton, in Somerset. He married the love of his life, Mary Beth Wilson, on September 8, 2000, who he leaves behind to cherish his memory.
John is survived by his wife; four children, Danielle Nicole (and Joshua Anderson), Ryan Christopher, Lauren Mackenzie and Morgan Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Tucker Evan, Baleigh Danielle, Clara Grace and Zakary Austin; his brother, Gary (and Alice) Daulton, of Somerset; his sister, Kathy (and Jeff) Roberts, of Somerset; his half-sister, Brenda Monopole, of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Laura Wilson; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Wilson Burton, of Somerset; his nieces and nephews, Abbey Lane Daulton, Drew Tucker Daulton, Josh Mitchell (and Andrea) Roberts, Jacob Daulton Roberts and Jaylan Michelle Roberts; his special aunts and uncles, Jonell (and J.P.) Wiles, Lana (and Charlie) Baker, Rose Daulton, Freda Daulton, Donovan Daulton, Kathy Wilson Grabeel; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He also leaves behind some dear friends, who were family to him, and will serve as honorary pallbearers: Eric Stewart, Troy Hill, Lynn Lowery, Phil Grundy, Darry Burkett, Brody Thomas and Danny Flynn; and special friends, Sue and Jerry Casada. He will be missed by many others, including his Citation/Keeneland neighbors.
He is preceded in death by both his parents; grandparents, Howard and Hazel Daulton and Willie and Nora Ping; his uncles, Joe Randall, Sherill Daulton, Walter Daulton; and his half-sister, Lutie Shelton.
It was proof to Mary Beth Angels do walk on earth. Special thanks to Rick and Melanie Buttram, of Hiram, Georgia, Bay Medical, in Panama City, Florida, the hotel staff at the Chateau, and Doctors El-Naggar and El-Kalliny.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will follow the visitation, on Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel, at 7:00 p.m., with Bro. Gary Phelps officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
