David P. “Dave” Kinser, age 71, of Eubank, passed away on Saturday February 13, 2016 at his home.

He was born on March 14, 1944, son of the late Joseph and Della Hedrick Kinser.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Neal Kinser, whom he married on May 8, 1971; two sons, James Monhollen and David P. Kinser Jr. (Amanda), both of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee; two daughters, Amber Mills (Jonathan) of Eubank and Amy Tucker (Terry) of Science Hill; seven grandchildren, Will and Savanna Monhollen, Lauryn, Knox and Autumn Kinser, Raegan Mills and Haylie Tucker; two brothers, Donald (Nicole) Kinser of Scottsdale, Arizona and Philip (Sharon) Kinser of Grandy, North Carolina; and one sister, Betty Hawkins of Kings Mill, Ohio.

David was a faithful member of Saline Baptist Church. He was the founder and owner of Dave’s Market in Eubank. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, farming and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 17, 2016 after 5:00 pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 18, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Saline Baptist Church, where he will lie in state beginning at 11:00 am at the church until funeral service time, with Bro. Noah Broughton and Bro. Melvin Sisson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Camp Canaan C/O Saline Baptist Church 2685 W. Hwy. 80, Somerset, KY. 42503.
