Pauline Elizabeth Holland, age 82, of West Union, Ohio, native of Tateville, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Cookeville Regional Medical center, in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Pauline was born on October 21, 1933, in Tateville, to the late Elbert Hayden and Ethel China Morgan Dick. She was a retired Certified Nurse’s Assistant. Pauline loved tending and watering her flowers. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, John Will Holland, III, of Blountstown, Florida; her daughters, Linda Sue (and Danny) Ashburn, Terry Lou (and Jimmy) Ashburn, and Donna Marie (and Thomas) Estep, all of Cookeville, Tennessee, Paula (and Randall) Shelton, of West Union, Ohio, Pam (and Wally) Smith, of South Point, Ohio, and Pattie Holland, of Huntington, West Virginia; her brothers, Donald (and Jennifer) Dick, of Sloans Valley, Carroll Dick, of Tateville, Harold “Buddy” (and Sherdean) Dick, of Bronston; her sister, Christine Bray, of Mooreland, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Pauline in death are her parents; her son, Robert L. Bray; her daughter, Patricia Bray; her brother, Raymond Dick; and her sister-in-law, Betty Lou Dick.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Her funeral service will follow the visitation in the funeral home chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, with Bro. David Muse officiating.

Burial will be in Tateville Cemetery.
