Ida Ola Worley Lockard, age 70, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.

Ida was born in Burnside, on February 23, 1945, to the late Andy and Flonnie Branum Worley. She married Jackie Ray Lockard on February 19, 1962, in Somerset. They had four daughters from their union. Ida enjoyed playing bingo and working in her flower garden. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Ann Hembree, Jackie Arlene Spradlin and Alice Pauline Fairchild, all of Somerset; her brothers, Jerry (and Charline) Worley, of Somerset, Jimmy (and Vickie) Worley, of Somerset, Kenny Allen Worley, of Burnside, and Danny Ray (and Nadine) Worley, of Bronston; her sisters, Carolyn J. (and John) Lockard, of Somerset, Claudia (and Brian) Watson, of Burnside, Ruby (and David) Harrison, of Cedar Grove, and Marggie (and Robert) Harrison, of Cedar Grove; her grandchildren, Brandon Garland, Shelby Garland, Heather Burdine, Donald Hembree, Ronald Hembree, Nick Fairchild, Michael Fairchild, Tyler Redmond and Zachary Garland; and her great-grandchildren, Adam Hembree, Dominic Spradlin, Shyanne Burdine and Isaac Fairchild.

Ida is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie Ray Lockard; their daughter, Jenny Lynn Garland; her brother, Ruben Worley; and her sister, Anita Worley.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2015, after 5:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jeff Lockard officiating.

Burial will be in Bronston Cemetery. Ida’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
