Charles Edward Ramsey, age 56, of Eubank, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at his residence.

Charles was born in McCreary County, on November 24, 1959, to Ralph Edward Ramsey and Millie Haynes Ramsey Harmon.

He married Sharon Erp on August 10, 1985, at the Old Fashion Faith Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death. Charles was a certified auto body repairman. He loved NASCAR, fishing and watching The Three Stooges. Charles loved his family, and is a comfort to them that he has gone Home to be with his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Sharon Erp Ramsey; his beloved mother, Millie Harmon, of Somerset; his daughter, Danielle Smith, of Monticello; one granddaughter, Brianna Smith; two grandsons, Dawson and Caleb Yanders; five brothers, Boyce (and Connie) Ramsey, Kirby (and Rhonda) Ramsey, Steve Ramsey, Robert (and Debbie) Ramsey, all of Somerset and Bro. Billy Ramsey, of Franklin; four sisters, Susie Jasper, of Somerset, Lisa (and Brandon) Johnson, of Lexington, Angela (and Garfield) Brock, of Science Hill, and Beverly (and Ron) Bolin, of Bronston. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Edward Ramsey.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday, at 1:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Vaughn and Bro. Billy Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery #1.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Lee Erp, Shannon Yanders, Michael Erp, Boyce Ramsey, Billy Ramsey and Robert Ramsey.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Charles Edward Ramsey.
