Roy Daulton, age 77, of Danville, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at the Ephraim McDowell Medical Center.

Roy was born on December 3, 1937, in the Naomi Community, to the late Herstel and Mollie Scrimager Daulton. He was a self-employed carpenter. Roy enjoyed fishing and hunting; he loved to go camping and being outdoors. He was a member of the Church of God of Faith.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery R. (and Pam) Daulton, of Somerset; his daughters, Debra (and Roger) Stubblefield, of Danville, and Roxanna (and Morris) Massre, of South Carolina; his sister, Sue (and Jerry) Sutherland, of Somerset; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; his former wife, Kathryn Lester Daulton, of Stanford; and a brother-in-law, Johnny Hargis, of Somerset.

Preceding Roy in death are his parents; his daughter, Cecilia Kay Daulton; and his sister, Ruth Hargis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m., in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 3:00 p.m., following the visitation, in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Troy Merrick will officiate the funeral service.

The family requests donations be made to the American Diabetic Foundation.
