Betty Bernice Morrow Daulton was born on November 20, 1931, in Burnside, Kentucky, to Porter F. and Della Audrey Morrow.

She is preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Charles L. Daulton; her sisters, Frances Petrey and Joann Davis; her brother, Cecil Morrow; and her daughter, Brenda Wilson.

Betty is survived by two brothers, Porter (and Patty) Morrow, of Burnside, and Bobby Morrow, of Somerset; her two daughters, Linda Johnson and Darlene (and Jackie) Wilson, both of Somerset; her son, Charlie (and Pat) Daulton, of Burnside; her son-in-law, James Wilson, of Louisville; her grandchildren, John (and Donna) Miller, of Indiana, Henry (and Kendra) Miller, of Indiana, Winnie (and Tony) Ramey, of Shepherdsville, Tonya Brown, of Nancy, Gene Johnson, of Indiana, J.J. (and Rachel) Johnson, of Eubank, Joshua (and Susan) Daulton, of Somerset, and Danielle Daulton, of Burnside; her great-grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Kaylee Miller, Kendyl Miller, Kaiden Lester, Laken Ramey, Marissa Ramey, Obadiah Johnson, Silas Johnson, Titus Johnson, Jerah Johnson and Ransom Daulton; and one great-great-grandson, Liam Wilson Fleck.

Mrs. Betty Daulton was always a hard worker, beginning with her teenage days at the Family Drive-in and Holsomback’s Restaurant. She began a sixty-two year customer service career at Salutsky’s and United Department Store. She retired from Belk Department Store, then spent several years after retirement as a door-greeter at Somerset’s Wal-Mart. Along the years, Betty managed Ted Johnson’s Dollar Store, in Burnside, and was a laborer at the Tecumseh Products Company, in Ferguson.

Betty loved to sing and play guitar. She even won a recording contract and hosted a radio show with her brothers, in younger years.

She was a member of Jordan Baptist Church. Betty loved the Lord, her family and her friends with a sure, steadfast sweetness that will be felt for years and years to come. She will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 16, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Betty’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at Jordan Baptist Church, in Burnside. There will be a visitation from 12:00 noon until funeral service time, at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Burnside Cemetery.
