Carolyn A. Rich passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Methodist Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born on October 12, 1927, in Scottsville, Kentucky.

Her husband, Arzie Rich precedes her in death.

They owned and operated Rich’s Wrecker Service of Indianapolis for several years.

She was the last surviving child of Lonnie and Cora Rush Emery.

Carolyn had three brothers, Roy Emery, John Buck Emery and John Wooten Emery, as well as three sisters, Laura Mitchell, Frances Jones and Mary Hammons, all of whom precede her.

Carolyn is survived by her nieces, Betty (and Willie) Rigney, of Kentucky, Joyce (and Gene) Durrance, of Florida, Sandy (and Rodney) Ohl, of Georgia, and Brenda (and Ed) German, of Florida; a nephew, Rodger (and Gail) Emery, of Indianapolis; along with several other nieces and nephews.

Our Aunt Carrie will be greatly missed. She loved us as her own. She had a love for animals.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Her funeral services follows the visitation at 7:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harold Harris officiating.

Interment will be in the New Crown Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
