Alberta Hudson, age 85, of Somerset, KY., passed away on
Sunday June 21, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on November 27, 1929 in Delmer, KY., to the
late Chester and Lulu Pearl Brock Dalton.
She attended Campground Baptist Church, was an avid UK fan, and enjoyed
gardening, flowers,
reading, sewing, gospel music.
Alberta was preceded in death by her husband; Ralph Hudson,
her parents; Chester and Lulu Dalton and one brother; Vertrees Dalton.
She is survived by one son; LR “Tink” (and Jill) Hudson of Sugar
Land, TX., two daughters; Lana Sue Ward of Attica, IN and Patricia Lynn (and
Craig) Smith of Over-land Park, KS., one brother: Leonard Dalton of Somerset,
KY., two sisters; Flonnie Mae Holt of Science Hill, KY and Barbara Shepherd of
Somerset, KY., four grandchildren; Stephen Hudson, Emily Wallin, Brian Smith,
and Brandon Smith, and seven great-grandchildren; Trevor Ralph Hudson, Kelly
Paulette Hudson, Jake Rivet, Josh Rivet, Aislinn and Madelinn Smith, and
Alexander Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 25, 2015 from 11am
to 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 25, 2015 at
1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse
officiating.
Burial will follow in Hislope Cemetery.
