Gloria Diane Petercheff age 59 of Somerset, KY passed away on Thursday May 28, 2015 at UK Hospital.
She was born on November 25, 1955 in Acorn, KY to the late Clarence Edgar Phelps Sr. and Marcella Whitaker Phelps Whitis.
Gloria was a member of New Direction Worship Center. She loved to sing, ride motorcycles, sew, and spend time with her grandchildren and her dog Scarface. Gloria loved people, and her favorite color was yellow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Phelps Sr. and Marcella Phelps Whitis and two brothers, Gary Michael Phelps and Clarence Edgar Phelps Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Petercheff; two sons, Jason (Darci) Petercheff of Somerset, KY and Charles Petercheff of Somerset, KY; three daughters, Brandy (Shawn) Perkins of Lexington, KY, Beth (Ralph) Klein of Myrtle Beach, SC and Rhonda (Ron) Wesley of Science Hill, KY; two brothers, Samuel (Pam) Phelps of Franklin, IN and Donnie (Dana) Whitis of Somerset, KY; two sisters, Cindy (Fred) Rose of Acorn Community, KY and Carletta (Willie) Turner of Somerset, KY and fourteen grandchildren, Brandon Combs, Jordan Perkins, Jade Perkins, Hashan Perkins, Rebekah Soard, Linkyn Klein, Alexis Klein, Michael Klein, Acey Petercheff, Abby Petercheff, Morghan Petercheff, Meghan Petercheff, Jackson Petercheff and Brooke Wesley. She is also survived by a cousin who was like a sister, Sheila Mounce of Somerset, KY.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 1, 2015 after 5pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Dick and Bro. Scotty Nix officiating.
Burial will follow in the Acorn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Combs, Eric Phelps, Virgil Perkins, Allen Phelps, Eddie Williams, Chris McWilliams, Larry Glover and Thomas Finnell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jordan Perkins and Michael Silvers.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the New Direction Worship Center Building Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
