Leonard J. Morrow, age 87, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Thursday May 7, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on February 17, 1928 in Keno, KY., to the late Newell and Angie Casada Morrow.
He was of Baptist Faith and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and especially cat fishing. He was retired from the United States Air Force and served in Korea and Vietnam.
Leonard was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Ellen Haynes Morrow, his parents; Newell and Angie Morrow, one son; Leonard B. Morrow, three brothers; Edd Morrow, Marrian Morrow, and Clarence Morrow, and four sisters; Hattie Morrow, Ernestine Perry, Christine Armentrout, and Virginia Morrow.
He is survived by one son; Brian (Ruby) Morrow of Somerset, KY., four grandchildren; Amber Pickett, Lindsey Woerdeman, Stephen Morrow, and Darlene Koger, seven great-grandchildren; Prymmleigh Morrow Pickett, Noah Woerdeman, Hunter Morrow Pickett, Ella Morrow Pickett, Brandi Koger, Brandon Koger, and Amber Koger, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 13, 2015 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 14, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Perkins officiating.
Full Military Honors provided by American Legion Post# 38 Honor Guard.
Pall Bearers will be Charles Stanley, Brandon Koger, Alvin Morrow, Donald Armentrout, and Matthew Vetch.
Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
