Willie Wayne Burdine age 70 of Somerset, KY passed away on Wednesday April 29, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on September 19, 1944 in Shopville, KY to the late Cartel and Minnie Mae Blakenship Burdine.
Willie was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cartel and Minnie Mae Burdine; one sister, Vivian (Leonard) Williamson and a sister-in-law, Joyce Burdine. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Martin Burdine; one daughter, Tonya (Billy) Dean of Owensboro, KY; two brothers, B.J. (Josephine) Burdine of Somerset, KY and O.D. Burdine of Somerset, KY; one sister, Mary Jo (Dale) Burton of Nancy, KY; his great niece and caretaker, Amber (Johnny) Terry and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday May 4, 2015 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 4, 2015 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Plants officiating.
Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
