Fayrene Floyd age 80 of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Somerset, KY passed away on Saturday April 25, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on Novmber 11, 1934 in Nancy, KY to the late Mose and Edith Prather Burton.
Fayrene was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mose and Edith Burton; her husband, Clifford Floyd and grandparents, Carl and Effie Prather.
She is survived by one son, Clifton Floyd of Clermont, Ohio; two daughters, Rita (Rod) Reynolds of Clermont, Ohio and Renee (Steve) Corey of Clermont, Ohio; three brothers, Galen (Carolyn) Burton of Somerset, KY; Leland (Nancy) Burton of Nancy, KY and Larry (Christian) Burton of Nancy, KY; two sisters, Aileen (Sonny) Burton of Nancy, KY and Charlotte Spears of Nancy, KY; two grandhildren, Josh (Debbie) Reynolds and Alisha (Brian) Hillner and two great-grandchildren, Grady Hillner and Collin Hillner. Also survived by a nephew, Roger (Dania) Godby of West Chester, Ohio, a sister-in-law, Faye Wells of Clermont, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Clifton Floyd, Steve Corey, Roger Godby, Brian Hillner, Josh Reynolds and Brian Burton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
