Donald “Bubby” Davis Jr., age 50, of Nancy, KY., passed away on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on June 24, 1964 in Somerset, KY to Donald Davis Sr. and the late Charlotte Hinkle Davis.
He was of Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, the outdoors, playing bingo, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and roller skating. He was also a former speed skater.
Donald was preceded in death by his Mother; Charlotte Davis and two sisters; Connie Davis and Chaskia Burdine.
He is survived by previous wives; Patricia McKinney Davis of Somerset, KY. and Shelby Kennedy Davis of Somerset, KY., his fiancé; Della Combs of Nancy, KY., His Father; Donald Davis Sr. of Cedar Grove, one son; Jerry Lane Glover of Eubank, KY., two daughters; Megan Davis (and Jamie Koss) of Nancy, KY. and Dawnelle Davis (and Lucky Owens) of Somerset, KY., three stepsons; Brian (and Amy) Heath of Alpine, KY., Wade (and Laura) Heath of Alpine, KY., and Brandon Combs (and Autumn Weston) of Nancy, KY., three stepdaughters; Danielle (and Eric) Collins of Somerset, KY., Heather Roberts of McCreary County, KY., and Denise, (and Matthew) Fugate of Knot County, KY., three brothers; Shane (and Elsie) Davis of Ferguson, KY., Billy (and Ashley) Davis of Cedar Grove, and Nathaniel Davis of Cedar Grove, three sisters; Brenda Polson of Cedar Grove, Kelley (and Donnie) Helton, and Nina Davis of Cedar Grove., and seventeen grandchildren; Jackson, Gage, Levi, Noah, Colten, Addison, Cadence, Caylei, Kendell, Andy, Jonathon, Erica, Lucas, Lauren, Logan, Quinton, and Dacey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday April 26, 2015 after 5pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 27, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Ryan officiating.
Pall Bearers will include; Shane Davis, Lucky Owens, Jamie Koss, Brandon Combs, Billy Davis, Brandon Davis, Chris Davis, Audie Davis, Donnie Helton, and Michael Blan.Burial will follow in Grave Hill Cemetery.
