Melvin “Bo” William Bray, age 60, of Ferguson, KY., passed away on Thursday March 19, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on July 29, 1954 in Somerset, KY. to the late Melvin and Lucille Wolsey Bray.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors, and loved to draw.
Melvin was preceded in death by his parents; Melvin and Lucille Bray and one sister; Betty Frances Bray.
He is survived by one brother; Richard Lee Bray, two sisters; Dartha Hall of Canton, OH. and Norma Ann Bray, one half-sister; Cathy Marie Williams of Florida, two nieces; Glenda (and Chuck) Gibson and Milinda Hall of Columbus, OH., and five nephews; Curtis Lee (and Trina) Dick of Ravena, KY., James Lee Norton of California, David Hall of Pittsburg, PA., John Donald Hall of Canton, OH, and Melvin Mitchell of Norton, OH.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2015 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 12pm in the Chapel Of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Gibson officiating.
Full Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post# 38 Honor Guard.
Burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Melvin Bray Memorial Fund in C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home 2110 West Hwy 914 Somerset, KY 42503.
