Nelson Rodriguez Jr. age 58 of Somerset, KY passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on August 31, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Nelson Rodriguez Sr. and Virginia Maldonado Gonzalez.
Nelson was a Behavior Analyst and loved music, his grandchildren and helping others.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Rodriguez and one brother, Carlos Rodriguez.
He is survived by his father, Nelson Rodriguez Sr. of San Juan, Puerto Rico and his mother and step-father, Virginia (and Daniel) Gonzalez of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Two sons, Ethan Rodriguez of Science Hill, KY and Grayson Rodriguez of Ft. Wright, KY; one daughter, Jessica (and Nathan) Morris of Georgetown, KY; one sister, Susan (and Bryan) Myers of Burleson, TX. Also survived by four grandchildren, Darwin Rodriguez, Elliot Rodriguez, Sophia Morris and Madelyn Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 20, 2015 after 5pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday March 20, 2015 at 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
