Robert Wesley Morrow age 59 of Burnside, KY passed away on Thursday February 26, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on June 27, 1955 in Fairfield, Illinois to the late Robert Harole and Della Pearsons Morrow.
Robert was a United States Army Veteran, a volunteer Fire Fighter and an honorary member of Burnside Fire Department where he also served a Safety Officer. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and loved his dogs, Rusty and Tippy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harole and Della Morrow, one brother, Larry David Morrow and one sister, Marcia Ann Morrow.
He is survived by one son, Chad Morrow of Cocoa, Florida; one daughter, Chassidy Waddle of Somerset, Ky; his fiance’, Jean Burdine of Burnside, Ky; like a son, Justin (and Sierra) Burdine of Somerset, Ky; like a daughter, Trinka (and Randy) Cavins of West Virginia; three sisters, Donna Marie Gibson of Burnside, Ky; Barbara (and Hobert) Henderson of Burnside, Ky. and Velda (and Mark) Morrow of Somerset, Ky. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brianna Waddle, Brittany Waddle, Amelia Newell, Kaylah Morrow, Zoey Morrow, Denny Jones and Joshua (and Ashley) Jones; great-grandchildren, Christopher Jones and Khloe Cowan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 2, 2015 beginning at 5pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday March 2, 2015 at 7pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating and a Final Call Honor will be held by the Burnside Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and/or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
