Terry E. Girdler, age 62, of Nancy, KY. passed away on Friday January 16, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on July 11, 1952 in Somerset, KY., to Marie Childers Girdler and the late Ed Girdler.
Terry was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors and making things such as; flower gardens, improvements, and nature items.
He is preceded in death by his Father; Ed Girdler and one brother; Jim Girdler.
He is survived by his wife; Sharon Hyden Girdler of Nancy, KY., his Mother; Marie Girdler, one son; Jason Lee Girdler of Somerset, KY, three stepsons; Zane (and Karen) Smith of Lexington, KY., Wade (and Lisa) Smith of Somerset, KY, and Nathan Smith of Danville, KY, one daughter; Teri Lynn Girdler of Somerset, KY., two brothers; Eddie (and Carla) Girdler of Somerset, KY and Chuck Girdler of Somerset, KY., three sisters; Sue Mize of Science Hill, KY., Gatha (and Dean) Lovins of Burnside, KY., and Beulah Janas of Weeds Port, NY., one sister-in-law; Ella Girdler of Somerset, KY., nine grandchildren; Jade Smith, Kayla Smith, Kendall Smith, Jabel Smith, Wyatt Smith, Zavian Smith, Amelia Smith, Cheyenne Eden, and Isabell Hagan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts, and Uncles, and a special friend; Archie (and Kim) Hodgen of Somerset, KY.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 19, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens with Bro. Steve Dunn officiating.
