Pauline Smith age 87 of Somerset, Ky. and formerly of Salt Springs, Fla. passed away on Saturday October 25, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born on March 13, 1927 in Rocky Branch, Ky. to the late Arlie and Georgia Dolen Criswell.
Pauline was a member of the Saline Baptist Church and the First Baptist Church of Salt Springs Florida.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Georgia Criswell. Her husband, Rufus Eugene Smith. One son, Wally Smith and one sister, Lorraine Criswell.
She is survived by four sons, Alan (and Sheila) Smith of Miami, Fla; Gary Smith of Miami, Fla; Barry Smith of Miami, Fla. and Bill (and Robin) Smith of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla. One daughter, Debbie (and Jim)Trueblood of Somerset, Ky. Two brothers, Lyle (and Delores) Chriswell of Monticello, Ky. and Roger (and OdieB) of Monticello, KY. Two sisters, Joyce Stephens of Grapevine, Tx. and Barbara Howard of Lexington, Ky. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday October 30, 2014 after 11am at the First Baptist Church of Salt Springs Florida.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 30, 2014 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Salt Springs Florida.
Burial will be in the First Baptist Church of Salt Springs Florida Cemetery.
