Ruth Mae Hill, Age 84 of the Cabin Hollow Community passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at her residence.
Born on September 27, 1930 to the late Clate Owens and Martha Viola Upton Harrison, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was also a loving Mother and Grandmother whom enjoyed fishing, quilting by hand, loved her chickens and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her Husband, Cooper Lewis Hill, whom she married October 14, 1955 in Somerset, KY; Brothers, John Bill and Richard Harrison; Sisters, Opal Sullivan, Mary Lee Harrison and Alice Mounce; and a Grandson, Floyd Johnson, Jr.
She is survived by her Daughter, Brenda Kaye Hill of the Cedar Grove Community; Brothers, William David Harrison, Robert Harrison and Vernon Harrison all of the Cedar Grove Community, and Carl Harrison of Columbia, KY; Granddaughter, Dawn Michelle Johnson (and Billy Williams); Great Grandchildren, Ashlia Renne Johnson, Alexis Michelle Rose, Cheyenne Summer Armstrong, Brandon Floyd Johnson, Lance Diamond Johnson and Tyler Austin Hall.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am with Funeral Services to promptly follow at 11:00am at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Burial will be in McDaniel Cemetery.
