Dusty Michael Mayfield the two month old son of Dustin and Shelby Whitaker Mayfield, passed away on Friday August 8, 2014.
Dusty was born on May 30, 2014 in Somerset, Ky.
He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Ralph J. Mayfield, Ronald Whitaker, Wanda Ballou and Milton and Alverta Adkins. Great-great grandparents, Hubert Dugger and Lola Pearl Dugger.
He is survived by his parents. Dustin and Shelby Whitaker Mayfield of Somerset, Ky. Three brothers, Jayden Strunk, Jace Mayfield and Gage Mayfield, all of Somerset, Ky. Paternal grandparents, Ralph Mayfield of Nancy, Ky. and Jenny Mayfield of Somerset, Ky. Maternal grandparents, Roger and Melena Adkins of Shopville, Ky. Great-grandparents, Delores Dugger and James Cook of Somerset, Ky. and Donna Mayfield of Texas. Uncles, Joseph Mosley, Roger Sanchez, Josh Mayfield and Jonathan Mayfield. Aunts, Amber Whitaker, Summer Carr, Savanna Whitaker, Kayla Thompson and Christina Adkins. Also survived by numerous great aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Monday August 11, 2014 at 5pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services were held on Monday August 11, 2014 at 7pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Hawk officiating.
Burial was in the Whitaker Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Dusty Mayfield Monument Fund.
