Marlene Durham age 80 of Science Hill, Ky. passed away on Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on July 4, 1934 in Casey Co. Ky. to the late Ransom and Rosa Napier Hatter.
Marlene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Science Hill, Ky. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling and watching the Kentucky Wildcats.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ransom and Rosa Hatter. Two sisters, Anna Belle Hatter and Lela Dunham and six brothers, Terrell Hatter, Charles Hatter, Ob Hatter, Tony Hatter, Mitch Hatter and Ben Hatter.
She is survived by her beloved husband Floyd Durham, whom she married on June 23, 1956 in Casey Co. KY. Two sons, Denny (Ann) Durham of Erlanger, Ky. and Robby (Sharon) Durham of Gardner Park, KS. One sister, Fayrene Bryant of Columbus, Ohio. Two grandchildren, Arica Durham and Andrew Durham.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 18, 2014 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Massey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Salyers Cemetery in Casey Co. Ky.
