Kenneth Case age 65 of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Saturday July 12, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on January 30, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Earl and Evelyn Strausbaugh Case.
Kenneth attended Oak Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of the William Spirit Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio where he previously served as deacon. For many years, he served on the Bridgetown Volunteer Fire Dept. and enjoyed fishing, flea markets, car shows and watching car races.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Evelyn Case. One brother, Dale Case and one great-grandchild, Connor Landrum.
He is survived by his wife Rose Chipman Case. One daughter, Michelle S. Case and her fiance’ Drew Venturini of Cincinnati, Ohio. One step-son, Paul (Allison) Stokes of Griffin, Ga. One step-daughter, Linda (Doug) Shadoan of Science Hill, Ky. Seven grandchildren, Charles Stokes, Shannon Stokes, Jeremy Landrum, Rebecca Stokes, Taylor Landrum, Ashley Miles and Hunter Clark. Thirteen great-grandchildren, Ava Landrum, Jaxon Landrum, Kylie Leverett, Mandy Leverett, Brayleigh Miles, Asia Stokes, Cayden Webster, Diana Hearston-Stokes, Anton Hearston-Stokes, Averie Smith, Destiny Eggleston, Skylar Stokes and Damon Washington.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 18, 2014 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 18, 2014 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Tucker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
