Barbara Faye Glover, Age 81 of Ferguson, KY passed away Saturday, May 24th, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on January 11, 1933 to the late Jackson and Rachel Boshears Smithers. She was a retired Nurse Aid with Sunrise Nursing Home whom enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and Bingo. She was also a member of Denham Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Glover; former husband, Luke Harness; two sons, Lonnie Harness and Wayne Glover; daughter, Cheryl Harness; and two brothers, J.R. and Tommy Smithers.
She is survived by sons, Dean (and Linda) Harness, Jackie (and Jennifer) Glover, all of Ferguson, KY and Larry Harness, of Somerset, KY; stepson, Michael (and Melissa) Glover of Cincinnati, OH; three stepdaughters, Patty Glover, of Franklin, OH, Kay Ware of Russell Springs, KY, and Becky Glover of Science Hill, KY; two brothers, Billy (and Faye) Smithers of Lafollette, TN and Donald Smithers of Huntsville, TN; five sisters, Betty Day, Emma Laxton and Margrett Williams, Mary (and Joe) Lowe all of Huntsville, TN, and Sherry (and James) Halcomb of Franklin, OH.; grandchildren, Bryan (and Chasity) Harness, Stacie (and Shannon) Vaught, Seth Wilson, Tony Harness, Brandi (and Jeremy) Lyons, Cyndi Armes, Aaron Glover, Matthew Glover, Sheena McKowan, Carlene McKowan, and Ashley Ware and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, May 26th, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 27th, 2014 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffith and Bro. David Muse officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hutson, Gary Glover, Matthew Smithers, Hugh Laxton, Chad Abney and John Abney.
Burial will be in the Acorn Cemetery.Southern Oaks
