Zona Pearl Davis, age 66 of Bronston, Ky. passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2014 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, Ky.
She was born on April 2, 1948 in Delta, Ky. to the late Charlie and Artie Phillips Kidd.
Zona was an active and faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, reading, couponing, yardsales and flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents. One daughter, Patsy Ann Davis and two brothers, Robert Kidd and Daniel Kidd. Three sisters, Ola Kidd, Vena Martin and Minnie McGhee.
She is survived by one son, Jamie (Katina) Davis of Bronston, Ky and one daughter, Diana Darlene (Curtis) Brinson of Somerset, Ky. Two sisters, Martha (Pete) Nevels of Bronston, Ky. and Dessie Dalton of Bronston, Ky. Also survived by three grandchildren, Evan Brinson, Kendell Brinson, Brittany McKee and a sister-in-law, Charity Kidd of Bronston, Ky. Several nephews, nieces and close friends.
Visitation will be held Friday May 16, 2014 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 3pm at the Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Ulanda Price and Bro. Chester New officiating. Visitation will begin at 1pm Saturday at the Liberty Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Loveall Cemetery.
