Tonia Lee McClanahan, age 42 of Somerset, KY and formerly of Whitley City, KY passed away on Sunday February 2, 2014 at her home.
She was born on February 8, 1971 in Somerset, KY to Helen Keith Fuson and the late Thomas Doyle Fuson.
Tonia was of the Church of God faith and a 1989 graduate of McCreary Central High School where she was a member of the Madrigals Choir. She made the Dean’s List several times, was a member of Who’s Who and enjoyed crafts and photography.
She is preceded in death by her father and her husband, James Earl McClanahan.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Fuson of Whitley City, KY. A daughter, Emily Ann McClanahan of Somerset, KY. One brother, Thomas Doyle (Lexi) Fuson II of Bronston, KY. Two sisters, Trina Fuson Hooper of Whitley City, KY and Tracy Fuson McCormick of Somerset, KY. Three nieces, Tiffany Langford, Robyn McCormick and Abbigail McCormick. Three nephews, Toby Hooper, Matthew McCormick and Samuel Fuson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 5, 2014 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 5, 2014 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Doyle Fuson ll officiating.
Burial will be in the Keith-Morrow Cemetery in McCreary Co. KY.
