Eddie Dean Nicholas, age 58 of Burnside, Ky passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on December 29, 1955 in Amhurst, OH to Ganzie Lee and Anna Mae Paris Nicholas.
Eddie was a disabled Vet from the United States Army where he was a Sergeant of the 101st Airborne. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the American Legion and the DAV.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Ganzie Lee Nicholas, Jr and Jerry Nicholas and two nephews, Mikey Nicholas and Randall Toney.
He is survived by his parents, Ganzie and Anna Nicholas of Burnside, KY. His wife, Patricia Campbell Nicholas of Burnside, KY. One son, Rodney Allen (Melissa) Nicholas of Burnside, KY. Three daughters, Amanda Rae (Steven) Edens of Raleigh, NC, Khrysten Jonel (Michael) Campbell of Burnside, KY and Kaley Montana (Chris) Nicholas of Burnside, KY. Five brothers, Buddy Nicholas, of Burnside, KY, Johnny Nicholas of Somerset, KY, Mike Nicholas of Burnside, KY, Terry Nicholas of Richmond, KY and Rick “Puck” Troxell of Liberty, KY. Four sisters, Anna Toney of Burnside, KY, Gina Mae Langdon of Somerset, KY, Linda Sullivan of Burnside, KY and Sharon Nicholas of Somerset, KY. Also survived by six grandchildren and one on the way.
There will be a visitation on Friday January 24, 2014 from 6pm-9pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
