Jason Scott Walters, age 37 of the Boat Dock Road Community passed away Friday December 6, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on May 7, 1976 in Somerset, KY to Jewell Dean Walters of the Boat Dock Road Community.
Jason was a member of the Burnside Church of God Community Harvest. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, his family, listening to music and watching movies.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Roy Lee Walters. A sister, Angel Michelle Walters.
He is survived by his mother, Jewell Dean Walters. His fiance, Angela Mounce of Somerset, KY. Two sons, Aaron Lee Walters and Justin Scott Walters, both of Somerset, KY. One daughter, Elizabeth Angel Walters of Somerset, KY. One sister, Tammy Dean Walters of Somerset, KY. His former wife, Tracy Taylor Carrender of Somerset, KY. His cousins but who were like brothers, Steve Burkett of TN and Randy Burkett of Somerset, KY. Aunts, Beatrice Burkett of Somerset, KY and Lovie Jones (Jergen) of Science Hill, KY. Also surviving are Tyson Mounce and Jacob Mounce who were like his sons, both of Somerset, KY. Shawn Crow who was like a brother, of Somerset, KY. Anna Crow who was like a sister, of Somerset, KY. Cousins surviving are Chris Jones of Science Hill, Ky, Tonya Sizemore and Tim Stringer both of Somerset, KY.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 10, 2013 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Perkins officiating.
Burial will be in the Military Springs Cemetery in Jabez, KY.
