Roger Lee Woods, age 63 of Science Hill, KY passed away Tuesday November 19, 2013. He was a Manager for AmVets and a member of the VFW, AmVets and American Legion. He was born on March 23, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Willie and Eva Taylor Woods. He is preceded by his parents. His daughter, Lori Woods and three brothers, Edwin Woods, Dickey Woods and Larry Woods.He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Girdler Woods. Five daughters, Shannon Woods, Samantha (Ryan) Black, Emily Ebenkamp, Erica Noel and Ashley Ruckel. Two brothers, Jerry Woods and Terry Woods. One sister, Norma Baker and a sister in law, Carol Woods. Also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday November 22, 2013 after 12pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held Friday November 22, 2013 at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with friend Richard D. New officiating. Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
