Lesley Cox Shelton Age 32 of Somerset, Ky. passed away Monday Aug. 26, 2013 at her home.
She was born on February 9, 1981 in Somerset, Ky. to Johnny Cox and the late Shirley Dowell Cox.
Lesley was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed cleaning, swimming, camping and spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother. Her grandmothers, Lona Dowell and Faye Cox. Grandfather, Ola Dowell.
She is survived by her husband, Kyle Shelton whom she married on March 6, 1999 at the First United Methodist Church of Somerset. One son, William Evan Lee Shelton. Two daughters, Macey Shae Shelton and Madison Kelly Jean Shelton. Her father, Johnny Cox of Tateville, Ky. One brother, William “Dickie” (Kathy Lewis) Dowell of Tateville, Ky. One sister, Mary Dick Bubnick of Eubank, Ky. Grandfather, Bob Will Cox of Tateville, Ky. Father in law, Bill Shelton of Somerset, Ky. Mother in law, Kathy Barnes (Joe McKinley) of Somerset, Ky. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday August 29, 2013 after 6pm in the Remembrance Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday August 30, 2013 at 11am in the Remembrance Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Dykes and Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating.
Burial will be in the Quinton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cooter Dowell, Josh Branscum, Jason Branscum, David Dowell, Derrick Dowell, Mary Bubnick, John Davis and Josh Beaty.
