Robert L. Sroufe Jr., Age 51, of Somerset, Ky. passed away Tuesday July 23, 2013 in his home.
He was born October 3, 1961 in Somerset, Ky. He was a beloved husband and father, musician, and actor, and loved fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Davis Sroufe; his father Robert Sroufe, Sr. and step mother, Georgia Sroufe of Somerset, Kentucky; his mother Ola Mae Dykes Hall and her life partner, Ambrose Hall; two daughters, Jessica and Jenessa Sroufe both of Somerset, Kentucky; grandchildren, Blade, Shadrick, Jerick and Levi; aunts Melissa (Todd) Mitchell and Brenda (Ernest) Warren of Somerset, Kentucky; uncles Elwin (Janet) Brinson and Sammy Brinson all of Somerset, Kentucky; step-sister, Sheila Sumner and step-brother, Jarrod (Rebecca) Sumner and step-nephew, Jase Sumner of Somerset, Kentucky; his stepsons, Sean (Ray) Davis of Lexington, Kentucky, Brandon McClure, Andrew McClure and Samuel Picard all of Somerset, Kentucky; his mother and father-in-law, Ronald L. and Carmen Davis of Whitley City, Kentucky; brother-in-laws, Anthony (Becky) Davis of Nashville, Tennessee and Ronald L. Davis, Jr. of Charlottesville, Virginia; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Michael) D’Souza and their son Nathan of Lexington, Kentucky; and many friends.
Robert will be missed.
At the family’s request there will be a private service. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that forms of donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home will handle any arrangements.
