Jewell Grider Age 76 of East Bourbon Rd. passed away Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born November 25, 1936 in Haddix Community of Breathett Co. Ky. to the late Herman and Lizzie Smith Russell.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Grider. Sons, Danny Grider and Jamie (Rachel) Grider all of Somerset, Ky. Daughters, Billie Wilson (Eddie) of Science Hill, Ky. and Jacqueline Wilson of Somerset, Ky. Brothers, Nathan (Sue) Russell and Mervin (Judy) Russell all of Middletown, OH and Charles Russell of Jackson, Ky. Sister, Jessie (Bobby)Gross of Jackson, Ky. Grandchildren, Brad (Chelsea)Wilson, Brandon (Heather) Wilson, Kris (Christa) Absher, Jordan (Ashley) Absher, Josh Grider and Nora Grider. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Virgil Russell.
Visitation will be held Thursday June 27, 2013 after 6pm in Chapel A of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Friday June 28, 2013 at 11am in Chapel A of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Grider and Bro. Brandon Wilson officiating.
Interment will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
