Doris Jean Eldridge Age 73, of Bronston Community, passed away Thursday May 30, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born November 28, 1939 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Robert Lee and Pauline Ramsey Ard.
She attended High Street Baptist Church and West Somerset Baptist Church. She enjoyed her pets, crafts, quilting, knitting, games on computers, facebooking, gardening and flowers.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Ping, Jr. of Slate Branch Community and Jeffery R. Ping of Bronston. Daughters, Sandra East and (Mike) of Bronston and Tina Morrow of Burnside. Grandchildren, Michelle Dalton, Kimberly Troxtle, Kristina Parkin Gowdy, Jennifer Renea Bilger, Taylor Marie Hayden, Amanda Jean Strunk, Jeramy Ping, Robert Morrow, Kevin Brian Estes and 16 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Husband Joseph Ping Sr. and, husband Elmer Eldridge. Her daughter, Diana Bray, brother, Ralph Ard and sisters, Faye Whitaker and Gloria Mills.
Visitation will be Saturday June 1, 2013 after 6pm in Chapel A of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Funeral will be Sunday June 2, 2013 at 2pm in Chapel A of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Parton officiating.
