Linda C. Thompson Forbes, age 56, of Somerset passed away on Friday April 12, 2013. She was born on August 1, 1956 to William S. Thompson and Mayme Setters Hudgins in Dayton, Ohio. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, work and her dog, Snookie. She was a member of the Trinity Fellowship and a retired registered nurse.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Jerry Forbes; sons, Nicholas W. Forbes of Somerset and Cory S. (Janet) Forbes of Austin, Texas; daughter, Emily Frances Forbes of Somerset; mother, Mayme Hudgins; brother, Thomas S. (Beth) Thompson of Cynthiana; step brother, Ricky (Carol) Hudgins of Georgetown, Kentucky; step sisters, Bonnie Hudgins of California and Kim Dalton of Nicholasville, Kentucky; Grandchildren, Autumn Forbes, Ainsley Forbes, Parker Forbes, Faith Lynn Frances Forbes; special cousins, Nora Sorell, Mark, Karen, Mary, Paula, Paul Douglas.
Visitation for Mrs. Forbes will be Monday April 15, 2013 at 5 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday April 16, 2013 at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Burnett and Bro. Ralph Tennison officiating.
Interment will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Casey Hudgins, Larry Bowen, Mark Setters, Terry Muse, Aaron Noe, and Drew Thompson will serve as active pallbearers. Rick Hudgins, Paul Setters, Keegan Bray, and Scott Setters Jr. will be serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
The Family of Mrs. Forbes would like to express a special appreciation to the workers of Hospice of Lake Cumberland for their services.
