Michael Blevins age 63 of Jabez passed away on Monday February 11, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Blevins was born on April 8, 1949 to the late Columbus L. Blevins and Relda Eaton Wallen. Mr. Blevins was a member of AMVETS Post 14 Kenova, West Virginia and American Legion Post 93 Kenova West Virginia. He enjoyed woodworking, his rose garden, boating and playing pool.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Billie Blevins; Step sons, Jay (Cathy) Enterkin of Kenova, West Virginia and Tim (Amy) Enterkin of Muncie, Indiana; brothers, Ernie (Shawn) Blevins of Jabez, David (Cindy) Blevins of New Castle, Indiana; sister, Rita Haynes of Jabez; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; special great nephew, Richard Haynes along with several other nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather Bill Wallen.
Visitation for Mr. Blevins will be Friday February 15, 2013 from 4-5:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers family request that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
