Irene Hensley age 75, of Somerset passed away on Friday January 18, 2013 at McCreary County Health and Rehab. Mrs. Hensley was born in Harlan County on March 12, 1936 to the late Finley and Varley Hoskins Caudill. She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed home gatherings, cooking, flower gardening, and vegetable gardening.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Joey Hensley of Somerset; daughter, Rhonda (Greg) Prezbindowski of Indiana; brothers, Edward Caudill of Richmond, Indiana, Larry Wayne (Gail) Caudill of Harlan, and Paul (Linda) Caudill of Florida; sister, Lilly (Lawrence) Griffey of Cambridge City, Indiana; grandchildren, Michael (Kristy) Wilkerson, Sierra Hensley, Jordan Hensley, Elizabeth (Bill) McDonnell, Brenda Drew, Walter Matthew ( Ashleigh) Prezbindowski, Mark Gregory Prezbindowski, Emily Maxine Prezbindowski; great grandchildren, Lukas, Leighton, Locklain, Harmoney, Tyler, Dale, Cody, Miriza, Zander, Jayden, Mason.

She is preceded in death by parents, her husband, Curtis Hensley; sisters, Kitty Witt, Betty Caudill; brothers, Silas Caudill, Winston Caudill, Roy Caudill, William T. Caudill, along with a set of twin siblings.

Visitation for Mrs. Hensley will be Tuesday January 22, 2013 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at Noon with Elizabeth McDonnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
