Janice K. Wilson, age 62, of Somerset passed away on December 12, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset on November 2, 1950 to the late John William Eastham and Helen Duncan Eastham. She attended the Potter’s Place Baptist Church and enjoyed working over 24 years at Somerset City Hospital and Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She also enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, her family, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Bobby R. Wilson who she married on October 12, 1979 in Faubush, Kentucky; son, Robert Lee (Scarlett) Wilson of Lexington; daughter, Krista (Jason) Molen of Science Hill; brother, Gary (Lucia) Eastham of Calhoun, Georgia; sister, Melva McCollum of Somerset; grandchildren, Brian Molen, Brett Barker, Olivia Wilson; mother in law, Josephine Wilson of Somerset; sister in law, Diana Eastham of Richmond, Kentucky; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Lee Eastham; brother in law, Johnny McCollum;
Visitation services for Mrs. Wilson will be Friday December 14, 2012 at 6 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Cylde Strunk and Bro. Rick Lawson officiating. Jason Molen, Darrell Gene Wilson, Darrell Wilson Jr., Daniel Wilson, Lucas Turner, Johnny M. Wilson will be serving as active pallbearers. Interment will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
