Sandra Dean Barrett Guffey, Age 54, of the Oak Hill Community passed away Sunday October 7, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Guffey was born in Harlan, Kentucky on November 19, 1957 to Bill and Arwana Calhoun Barrett. Mrs. Guffey was a homemaker, enjoyed her grandchildren and family, and was a member of the Valley View Church of God.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Lloyd Guffey; sons, Jason Lee Barrett I of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Norman Jamie Daniels of Eubank, Kentucky; her parents; brothers, Mark (Gail) Barrett, David (Penny) Barrett, Billy (Jackie) Barrett all of Somerset, and Richard (Kathy) Metcalf of Tallahassee, Florida; sister, Cathy (Fetter) Wilder of Science Hill, Kentucky; Grandchildren, Jason Lee Barrett II and Jaylenn Arwana Daniels.
She is preceded in death by her sister Debra Phillips.
Visitation for Mrs. Guffey will be Wednesday October 10th at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation service Thursday October 11th after 11 A.M. at Valley View Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 1 P.M. with Bro. Fetter Wilder and Bro. Eric Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Stanford Pike Cemetery.
