Chaskia Candice Burdine, 32, of the Cedar Grove Community passed away Thursday August 30, 2012 at her residence. She was born on February 16, 1980 in Somerset to Larry Burdine and Brenda Davis. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed church music, her children, wind chimes and watching Jerry Springer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother, Brenda Davis of Cedar Grove; father, Larry Burdine of Eubank; son, Nathaniel Hitchcock of Cedar Grove; daughter, Nina Hitchcock; brothers, Dustin Davis of Ferguson, Chad (Nikie) Glover of Ferguson, and Larry D. Burdine of Eubank; sisters, April Burdine of Eubank and Billy Jean Burdine of Eubank; grandfather, Donald Davis of Cedar Grove; grandmother, Mae Dalton of Somerset; step mother, Teresa Burdine of Eubank; special friend Kayla Bowling of Ferguson; Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews;
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Charlotte Davis and Billy Dalton.
Visitation for Mrs. Burdine will be at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday September 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held Sunday September 2, 2012 at 2. P.M. with Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating. Interment will follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery. All services will be conducted in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
