June Morrow Davis, 77, of Somerset passed away Friday July 6, 2012 at the Neighborhood. She was born on January 9, 1935 to the late Ernest and Ethel Casada Morrow in the Keno community. She was a retired civil service worker and of the Baptist faith.
She married Gerald Dempsy Davis on December 20, 1951 in Somerset, Kentucky.
Mrs. Davis leaves three sisters to cherish her memory Helen Bryant of Somerset, Elaine Gibson of Somerset, and Norma Jean Bufford of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister in law, Sue Morrow of Somerset.. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald Dempsy Davis; Brother, Marvin Morrow.
June was blessed with a host of special friends and caregivers at the Neighborhood assisted living and Nursing center under the loving direction of Sharon Reynolds.
Graveside services were held on Saturday July, 7 at Mount Union Cemetery with Rev. Brad Gover Officiating.
