Stephen Dale Ping, 43, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday June 27, 2012, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on July 24, 1968, in Somerset, Kentucky to Clinton and Doris Hood Ping.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Priscilla Gregory Ping whom he married Novemeber 07, 1987 in Somerset, Kentucky; his parents, Clinton and Doris Ping; son, Lucas Ping of Somerset; daughter, Tiffany (Kris) Bolin of Somerset; brothers, Scott Ping of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Sam (Angie) Ping of Somerset; sister, Sherry (David) Wheet of Somerset; grandchild, Piper Bolin; close friends, David (Twila) Bennett of Casey County. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and work family are also left to cherish his memories.
Mr. Ping was the owner and operator of Cumberland Machinery Movers and Industrial Service of Somerset and Bryantsville, Kentucky. He was an active member of Heritage Hope Church of God, Chairman of Church and Pastor Counsel, Sanctuary Sunday School Teacher, Leader of the Pioneer for Boys Club for Christ. Stephen also enjoyed hunting, children, his grandchild, and he loved his work.
The family will receive friends at Southern Oaks Funeral Home at 5 P.M. Friday June 29th. Celebration of life services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday with Bro. Johnny Dunbar, Bro. David Bennett, Bro. Scott Ping officiating. Burial will follow at the Eden Cemetery.
