Mae Irene Tomlinson, age 85, of Somerset, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on November 1, 1931 in Somerset, KY, daughter of the late Audie and Opal Varns Price.

Mae was of the Baptist faith and was saved by the Grace of God. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, her grandkids and her dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (and Bob) Phelps, of Somerset; two grandchildren, Katie Jo Phelps and Brandon Lee Phelps; a special great-niece, Traci (and David) Crabtree; special great-nephew, Travis West, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde Edwin Tomlinson; brothers, Richard Roy Price and Audie Price Jr. and a sister, Betty Jean Simpson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 beginning at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Bro. Donald Kennedy officiating.

Burial will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
