Elijah Hardwick, age 43, of Bronston, KY, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at his residence after a battle with cancer.
Elijah was born in Oberlin, Ohio on July 28, 1973 son of Oval and Connie Hardwick. He was of the Baptist faith. Elijah was a journeyman carpenter. He enjoyed playing his mandolin, working on his vehicles and going to car shows.
Survivors include his parents, Oval and Connie Hardwick, Bronston, KY; a son, Noah Daniel Hardwick, of Eubank, KY; older sister, Heather (and Steven) Helke, Bronston, KY; his twin sister, Holly (and Shane) Powell, of Columbia, KY; youngest sister, Ginny (and Nicholas) Bush, of Somerset, KY; a special friend, Linda Blair, Somerset, KY; maternal grandmother, Rosalie King, of Elyria, Ohio; several nieces, Brittany, Sierra, Sydney, Chloe, Megan, and Olivia; two nephews, Alexander and Jeremiah, and a great nephew, Corbin.
Elijah is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joda and Cora Hardwick, of Nancy, KY and Kenneth King, of Elyria, Ohio.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with his cousin Bro. Grant Hardwick officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery, Kidder, KY.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
