Abby was such a precious, and happy little angel, she didn’t know how to frown, there was always a big smile on that beautiful little face, l loved her very much, and she was a real treasure to me, and all of my family, I am so broken at the loss of her, but I know she is in heaven now with JESUS welcoming her home, and Jodi, l promise you my sweet husband, Lyonel will watch after her, and take very good care of her until we get there. I love all of you, and my love and prayers are with you. If you need me in any way, I am here for you. GOD bless you and all of the family.
Its hard to say that you met someone one time and maybe saw them a few more time after and they had a huge impact on you. But that was exactly what happened with me and Abbie. My wife works with Abbie’s granny and I went down there one day and little did I know that one little 6 year old would make such an impression on me. The hugs and the love and the huge smile that she showed was something that I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Just a few short years later my heart would be broken into a million pieces, when I found out that they had diagnosed that beautiful baby with cancer. And on December 1 2016, God said you’ve had her long enough, I need her back and I cant wait. What a precious angel, as she made her way to heaven, to have the sick body replaced with one that would never feel sickness or pain again. She had to make sure mom and the rest of the family was going to be ok before she left. When you think of Abbie, don’t think about her with sadness, remember the hugs, and the love, and that huge precious smile that would make an old guy like me, remember one specific day and one specific little girl from that day on. God Bless you and give you all the comfort, love and support that you will need. Sorry to write so much, just very emotional.
Just wanted to let you know, that your words of comfort, really touched my heart, you described Abby just perfect, that was the way she was, always smiling, loving, and kind, I have never had a child to touch my heart the way Abby did, she has touched so many lives, and I am truly blessed to say, that I did meet a true angel here on earth. GOD bless Abbys family, and GOD bless you.
We’re so sorry to hear about your loss. At Ecclesiastes 9:11,12 , it states,”I have seen something further under the sun,…because time and unexpected events overtake them all. For man does not know his time….when it suddenly overtakes them.” At John 11:25, Jesus said …”I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” May these scriptures give you hope and comfort as they did our family. May God be your strength in the days to come.
